KTK has recently purchased two new pieces of equipment, demonstrating our commitment to continually invest back into the company to meet our customers’ growing needs for high-performance thermal management solutions.
Haas VF6SS vertical machining center
KTK has added a Haas VF6SS high-performance Super-Speed vertical machining center to our current portfolio of machines. The CNC machine will allow us to perform high volume production with reduced cycle times with its 12,000-rpm inline direct-drive spindle, high-speed rapids on all angles, and ultra-fast side-mount tool changer. The VF6’s large bed size (64″ X 32″ X 30″) expands our capacity on larger parts.
Miller Syncrowave 350LX TIG welder
In addition to the VF6, we also purchased a Miller Syncrowave 350LX TIG welder. The purchase of the TIG welder will allow us to become more vertically integrated by adding tube welding to our capabilities. We will have a certified in-house welder in the near future. This certification will allow us to bring tube to tube welding, tube to fitting, and tube to manifold welding in house and certified to the military standards.
